This tournament opposes the words and deeds that promote discrimination and prejudice against transgender women, which are seen on SNS and other media these days.

Many transgenders are struggling with gender issues throughout or at one point in their lives, are often eliminated in medical and welfare education, and can even die on their own in severe cases.

The words and actions seen on SNS (especially Twitter) these days include the following.

"Transgender is the perpetrator and we are the victim."
"When transgender comes to a woman's space, it's indistinguishable from a molester."

That is, hate speech is happening. Some of the people who don't usually come into contact with these words and actions may be surprised or angry.
Also, I think that some of the people who have seen and heard such words and actions have been thinking about how to respond.
Some people may think that there is no end to countering.

We, the executive committee members, have been thinking about various countermeasures during this time. Of course, as a premise, it is definitely NO for such words and actions.

Therefore, I would like to ask all the participants.

We will strictly adhere to the grand rules so that this tournament will be a safe place for everyone including trans women. The Grand Rule is NO for all discrimination and harassment, and if you see or hear it, we ask you to take actions such as calling, intervening, or stopping the staff.

We work with you across disciplines and positions to create a society in which sexual minorities, like everyone else, can utilize the social resources of medical and welfare education and survive. I want to go.
