Estimated equipment and communication environment required for online participation

Please prepare a personal computer and communication environment that allows stable online participation.
(Even if the connection is unstable and you cannot participate or the communication is interrupted, no refund will be given. Please note that we will not be able to respond on the day of login failure due to unstable communication environment.)

Please refer to it as a guide for performance and communication speed.

PC specifications required to participate in the event with Zoom

★ Please also check if Zoom has been updated to the latest version.

★ Required equipment
・ Personal computer (8th generation Core i5 or above and SSD installed are recommended)
・ Speaker and microphone (Even those built into the computer can be used.)
・ Wired or wireless broadband internet connection * Although it can be used in 4G / LTE or Wi-Fi environment, it is recommended to use wired broadband.
・ Web camera (It can also be used with the one built into the personal computer.)
* You can use it without a camera, but you cannot use the video chat function.

★ About supported PC OS
・ MacOS 10.9 or later ・ Windows 10
-About browsers supported by Windows 8 or 8.1-Windows: IE11 +, Edge12 +, Firefox27 +, Chrome30
・ Mac: Safari7, Firefox27 +, Chrome30 +

 

★ Bandwidth requirements

Recommended bandwidth for webinar participants:

  • For 1: 1 video calls: 600 kbps (downlink) for high quality video and 1.2 Mbps (downlink) for HD video

  • Screen sharing only (no video thumbnail): 50 ~ 75kbps (downlink)

  • For screen sharing using video thumbnails: 50 to 150 kbps (downlink)

  • For audio VoiP: 60-80 kbps (downlink)

★ For group video calls:

  • 800kbps / 1.0Mbps (up / down) for high quality video

  • For gallery view and / or 720p HD video: 1.5Mbps / 1.5Mbps (up / down)

  • Requires 2.5mbps (up / down) to receive 1080p HD video

  • 3.0 Mbps (up / down) required to send 1080p HD video
