Thoughts on the subcommittee
Pride House Tokyo has decided to carry out a suicide prevention measure project (subsidy from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare) for "sexual minorities such as LGBTQ", which is a high-risk group in this year's suicide.
In cooperation with "groups working on LGBTQ issues" and "groups working on suicide countermeasures" in five regions nationwide, we will provide consultation support and whereabouts for LGBTQ, and provide training courses for consultation supporters.
This subcommittee will be co-sponsored with QWRC as part of this.
We hope that cooperation will be created with supporters and organizations working in each region, and that the safety net for LGBTQ will spread to each region. In addition, Pride House Tokyo has also set up an LGBTQ + life consultation desk and accepts online consultations. Please take advantage of it. https://pridehouse.jp/legacy/event/273/

Koji
Director and co-representative of NPO QWRC
Born in 1982.
An elementary school student with many transfers, he refused to go to school because he was bullied at the second elementary school. From that time on, I started to be aware of death. Self-harm was from around the age of 14 to about 32, and there was death close to me. By the time I turned 35, I started to think that the world wasn't welcoming me, and I'm past 38, who should have died, so I'm living thinking I'm still alive. I want to spend the rest of my life happily. My favorite word these days is that I will die even if I get impatient.
