Contents Why is the executive committee of the "National Convention for Considering Sexual Minority and Medical Care, Welfare, and Education 2022" (hereinafter referred to as "Sexual Minority 2022") actively working on information security? I would like to tell you what I have noticed and practiced from my encounter and connection with the Deaf LGBTQ.
What is information security? What is its depth and charm?
Some of you may remember that the sign language interpreter was mentioned at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games. How about in everyday life? Have you ever seen a sign language interpreter on your TV, or have you seen a sign language interpreter in front of you at a lecture or event? There are many opportunities to get a sign language interpreter, so I'm sure you've seen a sign language interpreter somewhere. Do you have any experience of having a conversation with a sign language interpreter when you have a direct conversation with a Deaf person? I've used UDTalk instead of a sign language interpreter! I have had a conversation in writing! No, I think there are people who can speak in sign language. I've heard the word "information security" somehow, but I wanted everyone to know what information security is, so I planned it. Deaf people who use the language of sign language. We want you to know that by implementing information security in a different way than in other spoken languages, you can connect with a wide range of people and share your time and place.
Kohei Nomura (DeafLGBTQFukuka)
Deaf and the first language is Japanese Sign Language. Established "Deaf LGBTQ Fukuoka" based in Fukuoka in 2018. In 2019, he served as the executive committee chairman of the "Deaf x Sexual Minority National Convention in Fukuoka" and was able to share and disseminate information to Asia and other countries. Taking advantage of those experiences, we are holding lectures, WS, and lectures for sign language interpreters / persons in the LGBTQ community to further expand our activity bases. I would like to work with you to think about how to create an inclusive community where people with various identities gather.
Sugiaki (Sekmai Tournament 2022 Executive Committee Information Security)
I met Deaf people about 20 years ago and started learning sign language, but after graduating from university, the chances of meeting Deaf people have decreased and the number of conversations in sign language has decreased dramatically. At the time of the last tournament, I was asked to join the executive committee, and from there what is "information security"? To come up with it again. Currently, I am studying by request while attending a sign language interpreter training course. I often receive events from the front and dent. Therefore, sometimes it is difficult to hold it from an angle. Struggling with myself.
