Closing remarks
This time, we were able to finish the tournament without incident.
A total of 742 people participated in the subcommittee live, nearly 100 more than last year. I am very happy that the number of live participants has increased while the archive is popular. It can be seen that there is a demand for real person-to-person interaction even at online events. In addition, a total of 404 people participated in the exchange meeting held immediately after the breakout session. Most of the presenters also participated in the exchange meeting, and it was a very meaningful time for both of us as we were able to exchange opinions directly with the participants.
And this time as well, we were able to provide sign-language interpreters and text interpreters to all the subcommittees as information guarantees. In crowdfunding, donations of 500,000 yen were collected, which greatly exceeded the target amount of 460,000 yen. With the support of nearly 70 people, we were able to feel that the number of people who support our activities is gradually increasing. Thanks to the many sign language interpreters, the ubiquitous text interpreter association, and the subtitles volunteers, we are able to guarantee the information of the competition. Thank you very much.
As of February 13th, the total number of views of the archives for the 16 subcommittees has reached approximately 900. People who find it difficult to participate in live performances have been well received for being able to watch the subcommittee at their own pace. In addition, it seems that we have been able to meet the needs of those who have participated in the live but want to check it again and look back.
The competition has ended, but you can view the archives until March 31st, so I hope you enjoy the 16 subcommittees. Archive tickets are also on sale until March 31st, so please let us know if you are interested.
It's been 10 years since I continued the competition in detail. While I feel the changes and achievements, there are still many things to be improved. Looking forward to the next 10 years, I feel once again that I would like to connect with many people and work in solidarity while maintaining a broad perspective. First of all, I'm looking forward to hearing about everyone's practice this past year at next year's competition. See you at the next competition.

Greetings
In the past few years, I have witnessed the situation where sexual minorities, who usually have difficulty living, are facing even more difficulties due to the corona crisis. In addition, disasters are occurring frequently due to climate change on a global scale. In an emergency, the burden on minorities becomes noticeable and they tend to be exposed to harsh situations. On the other hand, the results of the history of sexual minorities and the accumulation of their movements have recently emerged concretely, such as the nationwide lawsuits and the establishment of the LGBTQ Center.
I think you can feel that such a historical background is reflected in the lineup of the competition subcommittee. I also hope that this will be an opportunity to think together about what kind of society we want and how we can move forward towards it, ten years from now. We believe that we can change society, even if it takes time, as the number of people who show empathy and cooperation for our 10-year efforts to secure information has increased.
The daily life that has become unmanageable due to the corona misfortune. Broken connection. However, I sincerely hope that you will gain hope, energy, and wisdom from this competition, which is full of hints for living a comfortable life, and that you will be able to use it as food for your practice.
Practices are taking place everywhere. Somewhere, somewhere, someone is doing something for us today, right now, at this very moment. At each post, I think of everyone who is doing their best, and I send my gratitude and support. May this tournament be a place where those thoughts intersect and meet.
