Requests to participants for the online event

Please prepare in advance.

Preparing for the online event

●Please use a computer as much as possible and update ZOOM.

In the case of mobile phones, tablets, etc., there is a possibility that the situation of participation may differ, such as sign language or subtitles not being displayed correctly on the same screen, or functions being limited. If you do not have the latest version of ZOOM, you may not be able to use the breakout room function.

●Please prepare earphones/headphones and a microphone as much as possible.

When listening through computer speakers, the sound may be picked up by the microphone, causing howling (a phenomenon in which other participants hear remarks over and over again at different times).

●Please participate from a quiet place as much as possible.

A microphone picks up the sounds around you. If you participate from a noisy place, you may not be able to hear the voice due to the noise when you speak.

●Check the capacity and speed of the Internet.

Since it will be a video distribution, a stable and high-speed connection environment is recommended. In an environment where the Internet is unstable, video and audio may be interrupted in the middle. Please note that even if you cannot connect due to your own environment, the participation fee will not be refunded.

●Please decide for yourself whether to turn on the camera.

There are an unspecified number of participants, and I think that some people feel uneasy because they do not know what kind of people are participating. Also, sometimes the internet is unstable and it is not possible to turn on the camera. Please decide whether or not to turn on the camera according to each environment and circumstances.
*Protect your privacy with camera onFor those who want

●Please be careful when displaying your name when you participate.

If you have registered with your real name, please change it to a nickname if you do not want to use that name before participating.

Things to be aware of in online workshops

●Mute your voice while other participants are speaking.

If various noises enter from the microphone, the speaker's voice cannot be heard. Except for limited occasions such as exchange times and workshops, basically only the person who speaks should turn on the microphone.

●Please raise your hand and signal when you speak.

●Be sure to indicate that you have finished speaking.

Make it clear to the other participants that you have finished speaking by saying, "That's it," "I'm done," or "Thank you."

●Please use the chat function.

By writing questions in chat, breakout organizers can take up. If the surroundings are noisy or speaking is difficult, please use the chat function.

●Fixing the sign language interpreter's screen

If you want the sign language interpreter's screen to be displayed at all times, please pin it using the ZOOM pin function. in particular,Have a look at this.
