LGBTQ people tend to be excluded from sports
Did you like gym class? Do you have an exercise habit now? It is important for many people to relax and refresh their tired bodies by exercising, and to engage in outdoor activities and sports as hobbies in order to live a fulfilling life. However, LGBTQ+ people tend to be excluded even in such places. Some overseas studies point out that LGBTQ+ adults are less likely to exercise than cisgender/heterosexual people, and that there are health disparities due to alienation from exercise opportunities. On the other hand, at the last Olympics, about 250 athletes, the largest number ever, came out as LGBTQ+. For LGBTQ+ people, what kind of venue is sports that strongly reflects gender dualism, misogyny, and heterocentrism? Also, how should we think of transgender people in sports where "biological sex" is questioned? Ms. Satoko Itani, who specializes in sports and gender, will speak.

We would like to invite not only physical education teachers but also those working in schools where everything is gender-segregated to take a look at this session as an opportunity to re-question "What is gender?" The idea that "physical education should be gender-segregated" may change. We also hope that medical professionals who aim to eliminate health disparities will find hints for understanding "social determinants of health." Being an LGBTQ+ party in the glamorous world of sports. By thinking again, there is no doubt that you will want to send ale to the players more than ever.
